WEIGHTLIFTING CLUB

We are recruiting new members to join the CSUN Weightlifting Club! If you are a CSUN Student and would like to join our club, sign-up at CSUN Sports Club Page, find "Weightlifting" and click registration, then complete the steps below.  You must complete 3 out of 6 steps below before you can start practice.  Practices are held at Barbarian Barbell/Valley Crossfit (6930 Hayvenhurst Ave, Van Nuys, 91406).

Spring Semester 2020 practice schedule is as follows:

All Levels 

Tuesday and Thursday, 2-4PM

Saturday, 12-2PM

Intermediate/Advanced Levels (must receive approval from head coach)

Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 6-8PM

1.

Complete the SportsPREP in its entirety. This program is estimated to take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete. 

2.

Go to the Sports Club office, in the SRC, and turn in a
copy of your government ID and student ID.

3.

Fill out medical clearance form on the sports club
register page (returner paperwork for returners) and turn into the Athletic Training Office.

4.

Make an appointment for your physical & concussion
test; (must complete medical clearance form above and turn into the Athletic Training Office first).
        - Check with the Athletic training center (ATC) about physical dates and times. (ATC is located downstairs, behind subway)

5.

Sign into MataSync and join CSUN Weightlifting Club. 

6.

Attend Sports Club 101 (New Sports Club Participants).  Sign up on MataSync.
